2013 Corvette 427 Convertible|Review-Price-Exterior-Interior

Information Specification Modification Image Review  2013  Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible
The pace and frequency of change to this most heroic of all Chevrolets can be charitably described as glacial, and our assessments of the changes, when they finally occur, don’t always jibe with the perceptions of the designers, builders, marketeers, and flacks.
For example, when the Corvette’s most recent major update came along for model year 2005, purporting to mark the transition from generation five (C5) to generation six, we characterized the sum of the changes as “Corvette C5 and 11/16ths.”

The members of  the Corvette tribe don’t refer to their baby in alphanumerics. It’s known internally as the Y platform and has been for decades. But that doesn’t keep the rest of the world from identifying the generations as C4, C5, and C6. Soon to become C7.
So, will the next generation merit the full seventh generational designation? Here’s what we know. Or at least think we know.

As it prepares to be replaced, the American automaker is giving the C6 ‘Vette a new paint shade, Night Race Blue. The Night Race Blue is a classy shade of blue which will complement the existing Supersonic Blue Metallic and Carlisle Blue Metallic that is currently being offered.

Buyers of the 2013 Corvette will also get to choose between four Black Painted aluminum wheel choices, instead of the Competition Gray that was offered in years prior. Choices include a 5-spoke in 18- or 19-inch sizes, the Grand Sport in 18- or 19-inch, the Spider design will come in 18- or 19-inch, and the ZR1-styled wheel will be offered in 19- or 20-inch.

Though it's comfortable, the cabin isn't all that well-made in some respects. Upgrading to the available leather surface package is almost mandatory to avoid cheap plastics, and even then, the design and fit-and-finish are behind the times.

Crash testing is not a common occurrence at the upper end of the sports car spectrum, and the Corvette is no exception; it hasn't been put through the wringer by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Nevertheless, it comes with a good array of standard safety equipment, including front and side airbags, anti-lock brakes, and stability and traction control. Visibility can be compromised at times, however, due to the low-slung stature and smallish windows.

As for features, the Corvette is somewhere in the middle ground: not quite luxury, but not spartan either. With satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, a heads-up display, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, push-button start, and a power driver's seat, it will meet most buyers' needs, but it won't wow with its luxurious or high-tech amenities.

Information Modification Specification Image Review  2013 Toyota Tacoma
2013 Toyota Tacoma has a shape like a pickup car or a truck. If you look 2013 Toyota Tacoma for the first time, you will see that this vehicle appears like a strong, chic, manly, and give symbol of bravery to the rider. In the car’s surface, this model looks gallant which it has a striking when the oil contact the body. 2013 Toyota Tacoma also has big tires which it suit to different types of conditions so that the driver can ride the car in any type of surface.

The 2013 Toyota Tacoma is powered by safer antilock brakes, two V6 engines, 2 types 4-cylinder engines to make this car can be drove by two ways, automatic transmission and manual transmission. Besides that, 2013 Toyota Tacoma have made with so many modifications and with good stuffs compared by previous series, 2012 Toyota Tacoma, such as it has bigger wheels to give convenience and enhance the rider to drive easily.

This car looks very solid. Update version was a light weighted and also easy to drive. It is supported with the antilock brakes, the two V6 machines and two types of four cylinder machine in which the can owner can select an automatic transmission or the manual transmission system.
This car needs to show greater courage models and designs of machines and leadership if it wishes out of line with current sales decline. It could start with Tacoma. Overall the mid-size truck market in United States was small, however much can became blamed on lack of the new products in segment for the years. And not everyone needed or wanted a large truck, especially in Canada. Clearly tired it need of refresh, but minor tweaks made for the 2013 Toyota Tacoma.

The current generation Tacoma is offered in a wide variety of configurations, including Regular Cab, Access Cab, Double Cab and X-Runner models. The X-Runner is a special high-performance version of the Tacoma, offering stiffer suspension, larger alloy wheels and summer tires for better on-road performance, as well as a body treatment to match. The three other cab models are available with either short or long beds, and two- or four-wheel drive, in a range of trims and equipment levels. The base regular cab truck starts with the minimum features, with a choice of four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmissions and standard or PreRunner trims. The PreRunner specification adds a number of off-road-friendly features, including overfenders, skid plates, mudguards and upgraded wheels and tires. Inside, the trucks upgrade along cab sizes, with the larger models adding more luxurious seating, more folding seat arrangements, and more power accessories. The range-topping Double Cab models add rear-seat amenities including cupholders, heating ducts, and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat.  Optional upgrades include a six-disc in-dash MP3-capable stereo system, and a convenience package including power mirrors, remote keyless entry system, cruise control, sliding rear window with privacy glass, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

In recent model years, Toyota has added more off-road-oriented options with T|X and T|X Pro packages in addition to the PreRunner, X-Runner, and TRD Off-Road Package. Also, for the 2012 model year, Toyota expanded the number of four-cylinder Tacoma models and gave these trucks a light refresh, with a somewhat different grille, and less brightwork inside. The orange interior lighting was replaced with blue, and a new standard sound system included six speakers, Bluetooth hands-free capability, and a USB/iPod port. Availability of a navigation system with real-time traffic and weather, along with a new premium system with HD Radio and Bluetooth audio streaming, were also new to the 2012 Toyota Tacoma. source:thecarconnection.com,newcarreleasedatereview.com,newcarsrelease.org

2013 Buick Verano|Review-Price-Exterior-Interior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 Buick Verano
Carrying the conservative styling you would expect from a Buick, the Verano sports signature features like the brand’s waterfall grille and blue bezels around the headlights. It’s a clean design with a few extra touches of style thrown in to class-up its look. Handsome, yes, but it won’t draw a crowd.

Unfortunately the interior is totally underwhelming. Even at the highest price point ($25,965 before destination) fully adjustable power seats are simply unavailable. The seat cushion slides forward and backward and tilts electrically, but the backrest does not. In fact, adjusting the backrest angle involves fiddling with a poorly placed lever. There’s also no memory function.

It’s also hard to see out of the Verano’s rear, an issue that’s further compounded by the lack of a backup camera. It seems strange that this car would forego such a feature given that the majority of Buick buyers are well on in years.

Buick partnered with the NCAA last year, and it paid big dividends. Advertising shown during tournament games as well as website ads resulted in 1.35 million visitors to Buick.com to check out what the line of new Buick models had to offer, while the automaker's page on the NCAA website received 100,000 visitors, and Buick videos had well over 110,000 hits.
If anything, those numbers prove that Buick isn't just your grandfather's car anymore. More and more people are looking to Buick to suit their style and performance needs in the greater Joplin area.
At Roper Buick GMC we're looking forward to the 2013 Verano hitting our lot in the near future. In the meantime, come by our location, 808 Illinois Ave. Joplin, MO 64801 and check out our selection of Buick models like the stylish Buick Enclave or the luxurious 2012 LaCrosse. We're always more than happy to answer questions, compare models and specifications, as well as arrange a test drive.

the Verano Turbo should be end up about 300 pounds lighter than the Regal GS, it will be quicker. We're told the initial 255-hp iteration of the Regal GS is sort an interim step. Engine upgrades are coming to the GS to make sure it can legitimately reign as the performance sedan of the Buick lineup.

Buick announced yesterday that the 2012 Verano will start well below the Regal's $26,995 base price. Today we learned that Verano Turbo will come in under $30,000.

Below we offer a gallery of Verano Turbo pics (the wheels on the brown car are exclusive to the Turbo model), plus a few of the non-turbo Verano (the silver car), which we're told will earn a 23 city/31 highway mpg rating. We also sat in the Verano and found the front seats comfortable and the backseat adequate in the legroom department. source:blogs.insideline.com,autoguide.com,roperbuickgmc.com

2013 Fiat 500 Abarth|Review-Price-exterior-interior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth
Mini mustn’t maintain its monopoly on the multiplication of microcars—at least that seems to be Fiat’s take. While the 2012 Cinquecento is weeks away from its launch in the U.S., and the semi-convertible 500C will arrive a few months later, the Italian car giant has even more planned for its diminutive hatchback. A long-wheelbase version, probably with four doors (rather than the Mini Clubman’s awkward 2.5-door setup), is in development, and, based on the spy photos seen here, it appears that Fiat also is working on an all-wheel-drive version of the 500. It likely will hit the market in mid-to-late 2012 as a 2013 model.

The visual differences between the car shown in these spy photos and a normal, front-wheel-drive 500 aren’t numerous, but they are significant. This test mule rides much higher than a typical 500, which has only 4.1 inches of ground clearance in U.S. spec. A differently shaped muffler can be seen placed higher and in a different location than the one on front-drive 500s, presumably to accommodate AWD bits. The vertical gray tape at the trailing edge of the front fenders looks to be covering vertical vents or slats, a feature that might be specific to the future all-wheel-drive 500 or which could be bound for the 500’s face lift, expected around the same time as this new model.

Positioned between the standard Fiat 500 and the more powerful Abarth model, the 500T Sport should feature a less powerful version of the turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder currently found in the Abarth 500.

The Abarth model pumps out 160-hp and the standard Fiat 500 with the 1.4-liter has 100-hp, so the 500T Sport should come in at around 130-140 hp. The 500 Abarth in Europe makes 133 hp in its regular trim, so that could be the 500T powerplant American will see.
The document also showed that an Abarth convertible model is on its way to the U.S. as a 2013 model, but that isn’t a huge surprise considering it already exists in other markets. We expect it to be identical to the Abarth coupe but with a power-sliding cloth roof similar to what is found on the 500c seen above.

In many ways, the car the Abarth 500 reminds me of most, at least in general feel, is a Volkswagen Mark I GTI, and that's a good thing. Like the original GTI, it's small, nimble, light, and with a power-to-weight ratio that makes for lively performance. The Fiat 500 Abarth is some of the most fun you can have on four wheels.

Sure, there are plenty of faster cars you can buy, but when you're in it with this little hotbox, foot on the floor, leaning into a turn, hearing that great engine note, you just won't care. You're having too much fun.source:caranddriver.com,jalopnik.com,autoguide.com

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe|Review-price-exterior-interior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 hyundai genesis
According to Hyundai America CEO John Krafcik, 2011 marked the highest calendar-year sales ever for the Genesis coupe. The self-confessed factoid freak calmly references this fact from the passenger seat of a 2013 Genesis coupe as we skim across the Nevada Desert floor at speeds well over the century mark. Krafcik is busy peppering me with questions about the car—and other cars, and Apple, Sony, BlackBerry, and the current state of EPA regulations, among other topical concerns—and snapping photos when we roll over a cattle grate without drama; doing so in the pre-refresh Genesis coupe would have sent reverberations throughout the entire car. He smiles approvingly, then returns his attention to his BlackBerry and begins hammering out another series of messages. Note to Genesis coupe suspension engineers: Now may be the time to ask for a raise.

We gave you a look at the Genesis’s revised fascia when it debuted at the Detroit show back in January, and we can now confirm our suspicion that the hood is an entirely new stamping, a costly proposition for a simple midlife revamp. Paintwork on the dozen or so examples we examined was flawless, and the Genesis looks light-years better—and bigger—in the flesh than in photographs. But the real news is the pair of significantly reworked engines residing under that fresh hood.

For 2013, Hyundai engineers put the squeeze on the Genesis Coupe's naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V-6 with nice, cooling, high-pressure fuel being sprayed directly into the combustion chamber, permitting the compression to rise from 10.4:1 to 11.5:1, bumping output (on premium fuel) to 348 hp at 6400 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 5300 rpm. In addition to implementing direct injection, engineers made numerous chassis, body, and interior tweaks to Hyundai's sportiest rear-drive offering, all in the name of keeping up with the 323-horsepower 2012 Chevy Camaro and soon-to-be-released 305-horse 2013 Ford Mustang. Considering all these improvements to the Gen Coupe, now may not be the best time to save a few bucks on the outgoing model, or to rush out and plop money down on one of the Americans.

THE VERDICT

Considering the significant upgrades made to the 2013 Genesis Coupe, the price hike is understandable. The car looks better inside and out, the power upgrade is impressive, plus, in a nod to enthusiasts and in an effort to further grow the car’s following, driving dynamics have been improved.

All these factors combine with the unique value packaging of Hyundai’s rear-drive sports car to make it not just a stand-out, but a stand-alone pick. True, in the entry-level range it doesn’t offer the purist appeal of the Scion FR-S, and in top-trim it’s still no G37, but in each comparison there are strong arguments to be made for the Hyundai, be it price, style or the fact that when compared to a car like the FR-S it has an edge when it comes to the level of sophistication.

2013 Subaru WRX STI Review,Price,Interior,Exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 Subaru WRX STI
After its recently revealed "Motion V" program was announced late last year, Subaru bosses arranged a special briefing for potential investors. At that meeting, senior staffers laid out a road map of what models and new technologies would be unveiled up to 2015.

It started with the all-new Impreza of last year, the BRZ and Forester which will go on sale this year, the Exiga minivan in 2013, the all-new WRX (which will diverge from the Impreza platform) and a brand new sport wagon for 2014, and the all-new Legacy in 2015.

Of note on the technology side is a new direct injection turbocharged engine slated for introduction by the end of this year. And that's just part of Subaru's powertrain plans.

Aside from a name change, the 2013 Subaru WRX will get an all-new platform to call home, along with a new engine underhood. Subaru is dropping "Impreza" from the WRX nameplate, but will continue building the car from the Impreza platform. Subaru wants to distinguish the Impreza as its mainstream small car offering while highlighting the WRX's gravel-spitting, rally-racing heritage. As such, the new WRX will likely ride on a slightly shorter wheelbase and use lighter-weight suspension components and unique suspension geometry for enhanced performance handling.

The 2013 WRX will use a new turbocharged 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine that, while a half-liter smaller, will make more power than the engine in the current model. Aided by direct injection, the new four-cylinder should make close to 270 horsepower and, coupled with the new WRX's expected weight loss, help achieve better fuel economy than the current model's 19 mpg city/25 mpg highway. Expect a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive to come standard.

It is a similar position to that taken by Honda in Australia, which recently announced it will be introducing a diesel variant of the British-built Civic hatch in 2013.

This is likely to be related to the existence of a powerful and highly efficient new 1.6-litre unit that will debut at Geneva next month and is set to replace the well-regarded 2.2-litre diesel used on several European-market Hondas.

Mr Senior said he expected Impreza volume to remain steady despite the arrival of the fourth-generation model.

This is largely due to pressure on the factory, which is operating at 100 per cent capacity and working hard to satisfy exceptionally high demand for the new XV, more than 650 of which were sold locally in the two weeks immediately following its launch last month.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Review,Price

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
The ultimate Ford Mustang - Shelby GT500 - raises the bar high on performance with the introduction of the new 2013 model that goes on sale next year delivering 650 horsepower and a top speed of more than 200 mph.

"SVT keeps the Shelby GT500 on the cutting edge of technology and takes muscle car performance to new heights," said Jost Capito, director of Global Performance Vehicles and Motorsport Business Development. "We encapsulated every aspect of performance in this car - whether it's 0-60, top speed, racetrack or quarter-mile times. Beyond that, the daily driver also will find this car perfectly fits his or her needs."

The 5.8-liter V8 aluminum-block engine produces 650 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful production V8 in the world. The 3,850-pound car also stays exempt from the gas-guzzler tax.

Nearly every part of the powertrain has been optimized for producing the additional horsepower, including a new supercharger, new cross-drilled block and heads, updated camshaft profiles, a new carbon fiber driveshaft and upgraded clutch, transmission and axle.
A larger, more-efficient supercharger flowing more air through the engine is key to helping produce the massive 650 horsepower. The new TVS series 2300 creates 2.3 liters of displacement and is a unique design to the 5.8-liter engine.

While punching out the 5.4-liter aluminum-block V-8 out to 5.8 liters, the GT500’s powertrain crew also updated the heads for better cooling, changed the camshaft profiles, added piston squirters and higher-flow fuel injectors, swapped the old supercharger for a larger and more efficient TVS unit that ups boost from 9 to 15 psi, and fitted a larger intercooler. The result is an extra 100 hp and 90 lb-ft compared to the 2012 model. The cooling system was upgraded to dissipate the excess heat, and a carbon-fiber driveshaft, upgraded clutch, strengthened transmission (with revised gearing), and sturdier rear axle were deemed necessary to cope with the extra grunt. To help the driver cope, the GT500 is equipped with an adjustable launch-control function.

Despite the GT500’s barbaric output, Ford has come a long way from the muscle cars of yesteryear, wherein engineers fitted a bigger, more powerful engine and called it good. A new front fascia is home to the same revised headlights as the other ’13 Mustangs, and there’s a new front splitter. That last bit is important, as Ford says the new GT500’s top speed is in excess of 200 (!) mph. Chew on that, Camaro ZL1. Heck; chew on that, Corvette Z06, with your piddling 198 mph. Overall, Ford says the 2013 GT500 has 33 percent more downforce at 160 mph than its predecessor. With a factory Mustang joining the 200-mph club, drivers will appreciate standard Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers in the front and larger rotors and new pads at all four corners.

The new Shelby GT500 will be priced right on top of the Camaro ZL1, too — $54,995, including shipping, for the GT500 coupe, with the GT500 convertible fetching a $5,000 premium above that.
The Shelby GT500 coupe debuted last fall at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, while the convertible was unveiled earlier this year at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.

For an extra $3,495, the 2013 Shelby GT500 can be ordered with the SVT Performance package, which comes bundled with a Torsen differential, 19-inch painted forged-aluminum front wheels, 20-inch painted forged-aluminum rear wheels, 265/40R19 front and 285/35R20 rear tires, Bilstein adjustable dampers, unique rear springs, unique instrument cluster and unique gearshift knob.
