2013 Hyundai Elantra GT Review,Price,Interior,Exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 hyundai elantra GT
Ever value-conscious, Hyundai is looking to save money on badges for its latest five-door Elantra. Why else change the name from Elantra Touring to the revived Elantra GT moniker? The new hatchback makes its debut at the 2012 Chicago auto show alongside a two-door Elantra

Bigger and Smaller at the Same Time
Name change aside, the second-generation Elantra five-door is again an Americanized Hyundai i30. Hyundai points out that the Elantra GT will have more passenger and cargo room than all of its five-door competitors, save for the recently enlarged Subaru Impreza. It fails to mention, however, that those numbers are down from the last car. That’s partly because the new i30—and, as a result, this GT—loses its upright, wagon-style rear end; it’s shorter in length and height, rides on a shorter wheelbase, and is slightly wider than the car it replaces. Seats-folded cargo capacity is down by 14.3 cubic feet to a still-competitive 51. All told, it’s a lot more attractive than the outgoing car and fits in well with the rest of the Elantra lineup.

The current generation Elantra can seat up to five and has very accommodating trunk space. Two trim levels are offered: GLS and Limited. Both use a 148-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the GLS trim, while a six-speed automatic with SHIFTRONIC is standard on the Limited trim and available on the GLS. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control with traction control and six airbags. Available features include a power sunroof, turn signal indicators on exterior mirrors, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated leather seating surfaces and Bluetooth.

The Elantra receives several changes for 2013. The GLS trim now sports 16-inch wheels and tires, cruise control, air-conditioning and a telescoping steering wheel. The Limited trim gains a power driver seat with lumbar.

Visually, the Elantra Coupe looks much like the sedan. Looking head-on, the only way to tell one apart from the other are the fog lamps -- the Coupe's are considerably bigger and extend closer to the center of the car. From the side, the elongated front door and small rear window conspire to make the Elantra Coupe seem smaller than it really is. It's from the rear (or at least the rear three-quarter) where the Elantra Coupe looks the best and sportiest -- thanks in no small part to the visible exhaust tips.
It remains to be seen how much of an impact the Elantra Coupe will have on total Elantra sales, but a properly executed variant never hurt anybody. If this two-door gamble pays off -- given that the selection of compact coupes currently on the market consists of Honda's much-derided-though-not-that-bad Civic and Korean-sister-come-archrival Kia's Forte Koup, it doesn't seem that risky -- the Elantra, with additional help from the also-new GT hatchback variant, could take the sales crown in the compact segment.source:autos.aol.com,caranddriver.com,motortrend.com

2013 Dodge Dart review,price,interior,exterior

Information Specification Modifation Image Review 2013 Dodge Dart
The single most important thing about the 2013 Dodge Dart is that it proves Chrysler is still in the game. The new Dart compact sedan may not leapfrog every other compact on the market to set lofty new heights of excellence. But it's stylish, fun to drive, offers some pioneering features for the segment, and is competitively priced. And the last time the company introduced a sedan you could say that about--the Chrysler 300--was 2005.

From the car's roominess inside to its strong Dodge design roots, the Dart is a breath of fresh air in a compact segment that threatens to become even more beige than it has been. Just consider the competition.
On one end is a newly strong competitor, the Hyundai Elantra. It's undeniably stylish, gets great fuel economy, and offers plenty of value for the money. On the other end is the aged, invisible, unappealing Toyota Corolla (due to be replaced for 2014), saddled with an archaic four-speed automatic transmission and numb electric power steering. In between are the stylish but pricey Ford Focus, the good-citizen Chevy Cruze (still the quietest highway cruiser of the class), and the somewhat disappointing all-new 2012 Honda Civic.

"This car didn't even exist on paper in June of 2009," Marchionne told Steve Kroft on CBS's "60 Minutes" days before the first press drive in Healdsburg, California. Dodge didn't have any dual-clutch or 2.4-liter R/T versions to sample, just the 1.4-liter turbo and 2.0-liter, some with the six speed automatic, some with the Honda-slick six-speed manual.
"It's got a little Italian flair," Kroft noted.
"Yeah. Just enough to make it interesting, and it avoids the pitfalls of being Italian," Marchionne replied.

So, mechanically, it's sorted.

Three years is a short time to bring a new car to market, even if it starts with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. By now you've read about most of the changes, including 1.2-inch-wider tracks, a longer wheelbase, and 12 inches more overall length than the hatchback Giulietta. Chrysler tweaked suspension geometry for rougher roads in the U.S. to include a dual-rate rear in the Dart, firm in one direction and multi-rate in the other. It has 68-percent hot-stamped high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel, and active grille shutters in the lower front fascia.

Back in the Game
The 2013 Dodge Dart is a strong effort, a car that should instantly allow Dodge to compete with its established rivals after several years on the compact sidelines. It looks great, is priced aggressively, stacks up nicely in terms of power and efficiency and offers a whole slew of premium options.
Beyond that, the Dart handles; it has mojo. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta DNA that went into it has emerged intact, albeit in a somewhat larger, trunkified form.

From where we sit, the 2013 Dodge Dart is definitely worth a closer look. There's an obvious comparison test in our near future but, whatever the outcome, Dodge's return to the increasingly important compact segment should help put it on a path to a far rosier future.

2013 Ferrari Enzo Review,price,interior,exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review  2013 Ferrari Enzo
“We want to surprise people, not only giving money, but also the presentation of the car” , told Automotive News Europe Luca di Montezemolo in Geneva. It can therefore be expected that the successor to the Enzo will be presented to a select group of potential customers at the end of this year. Italian manufacturer has not yet decided where the car will be shown publicly. Spokesman for Ferrari said that the most likely date would be a car showroom in Detroit or Geneva next year. Given, however, fair rank and status of the car the more likely site for the presentation will be fair in Geneva.

The 2012 Ferrari Enzo is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. 2012 Ferrari Enzo was built in 2012 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fibre body, F1-style electrohydraulic shift transmission, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes. Also used are technologies not allowed in F1 such as active aerodynamics and traction control. After a downforce of 775 kg (1,709 lb) is reached at 300 km/h (186 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that downforce.

Power, according to foreign media reports, the new car will be equipped with maximum power of 789 hp 6.2L V12 engine, KERS kinetic energy recovery system can also provide an additional power of 117 horsepower. The expected new car 0-100km / h acceleration time of less than 2.5 seconds, top speed can reach 408km / h. The new car is very likely to release the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The new flagship of the Lamborghini LP 700-4 listed makes Ferrari gradually fall into the passive, the Enzo’s successor, naturally became the latest competitive weapon, this weapon is very likely to become the Bugatti the most powerful competitors.

Ferrari says its hybrid system, known as “HY-KERS”, has reduced fuel consumption by 40 percent in testing and has also improved vehicle acceleration. Ferrari says a HY-KERS equipped car is about 3 seconds faster to 200kph than a gas-only car.

The hybrid system will add about 265 pounds to the vehicle’s weight, but Ferrari will combat that through the extensive use of carbon fiber. Felisa noted that the Enzo successor will use Formula One grade carbon fiber, which is lighter and stronger than the carbon material used in the construction of the original Enzo.

Samsung Electronics will provide the lithium-ion batteries for the hybrid, but Ferrari will construct the battery packs at its F1 racing headquarters in Fiorano, Italy.

2013 Scion FR-S,concept,Review,Price,Interior,exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2013 Scion FR-S
The U.S.-market sister ship to the Subaru BRZ, the Scion FR-S, will go on sale this spring. It is an unusual car for parent company Toyota, or at least the Toyota of late. Before the creation of the FR-S, Akio Toyoda (president of Toyota and grandson of the company’s founder) asked himself, “Where is the passion in our lineup? I want to build a sports car.”

The Scion FR-S is that sports car. (It also will be sold across the globe as the Toyota GT 86 or simply 86.) Much has been made about the collaboration with Subaru. Toyota claims credit for the car’s existence and the idea itself, which is in direct opposition to what Subaru told us. Fight! Fight! Toyota says chief engineer Tetsuya Tada’s original concept called for a front-engined sports car with rear-wheel drive. Inspired by the rear-drive Corolla of the ’80s that became the darling of drifters, the new sports car would be light, agile, and affordable. After some internal resistance within Toyota and Subaru, a prototype was built in late 2007 using a Subaru flat-four and rear-wheel drive. The prototype changed minds; by early 2008, a sports-car program was born.

The report went on to say that a turbocharged BRZ is a possibility in the future, but there is no way the FR-S will ever receive forced induction. The source also mentioned that the GT 86 could potentially get some added PSI into the intake. The reason being, according to this “source,” is because the Scion is considered an entry-level sports car and a turbocharger would push its $24,930 base price to near $30,000. At that price, most Scion buyers may start dreaming of a BMW 1-series or something a little more upscale. The Subaru and Toyota, on the other hand, cater to higher-end customers.

Being the car buffs that we are and lovers of a little forced air, this is a depressing thing to hear. It also slightly confuses us a little, as we don’t quite see how adding a turbocharger can pump the base price up $6,000. Even if it did approach those higher cars, like the 1-Series, a boosted FR-S would certainly pump out more power than the base 1-Series and is definitely a more fun car to drive.

The Wait Is Almost Over
Pricing is very straightforward, as the 2013 Scion FR-S starts at $24,930 with destination when equipped with a six-speed manual. Heretics who insist on the six-speed autobox will have to cough up an additional $1,100.

Other accessories will be available à la carte in usual Scion fashion, the most substantial of which is the 340-watt Pioneer BeSpoke premium audio that features a novel app-based multimedia interface. This system will debut with iPhone capability only, with other device compatibility to follow in the coming months. Pricing for this isn't finalized yet, but it's expected to cost less than $900.
Scion says the FR-S will reach dealership floors on June 1st. That's not too long to wait for the most gratifying sports car to come along in years.source:topspeed.com,insideline.com,caranddriver.com

Lamborghini Urus concept,Review,Price,Interior,Exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review Lamborghini Urus

Lamborghini needs a third model, one that will attract a different kind of customer than the Gallardo and Aventador. If brand president and CEO Stephan Winkelmann gets his wish, it will look just like the Lamborghini Urus concept being unveiled at the 2012 Beijing auto show.

"I personally think this is a good pick," said Winkelmann at an exclusive preview staged at the company's Sant'Agata Bolognese factory in northern Italy. At a second preview during the New York auto show, he added, "We want to do this car. We believe it is the right direction."

At the time of our first encounter, the Urus super-SUV concept had only a codename: LB 736. The dull alpha-numeric belonged to one of the most extreme SUV shapes ever created. The team decided from the start that it wouldn't do another "Rambo Lambo" LM002, but instead a vehicle for the modern SUV buyer. The concept's width, low roofline, and short overhangs imply handling and speed in a class apart. Yet the Urus is also unmistakably Lamborghini. The crisply creased surfacing and angular details link it to the brand's current supercars, and there's even an echo of Countach to the cut of its wheel arches, a detail in which the designers take pride.

In terms of styling, the Urus echoes the canned Estoque saloon concept with an angular design. Bosses say it will be the world’s fastest-accelerating and best-handling SUV, although they have yet to confirm what engine will sit under the bonnet.

It could potentially use a modified version of the VW Group’s new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 or a 6.0-litre W12. Both of these engines are used in the latest Bentley Continental GT.

Whatever engine powers the production version, Lamborghini is targeting a 0-60mph time of around four seconds. And although the company says the top speed for an SUV is “not really relevant”, it’s likely to reach well over 180mph.

Like the Aventador, the Urus uses carbon fibre for its chassis and body, and the company claims it’s 100kg lighter than even an aluminium model would be. “With this style of machine, lower weight is the new power,” said R&D boss Maurizio Reggiani.

Lamborghini isn't saying much about the proposed engine for its new SUV, only using the 600-hp output as a guidepost. The ute at the China motor show is a running prototype, although the final engine hasn't been specified.

Autoweek has learned that Lamborghini expects to give the production version of the Urus a modified version of parent company Audi's new turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 direct-injection gasoline engine in combination with an electric motor that has plug-in capability. Power likely will be channeled through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a torque-sensing four-wheel-drive system with an electronically operated torque-vectoring system.

2012 Ford B-MAX review,price,interior,exterior,image

Information Specification Modification Image Review 2012 ford b max
The new Ford B-MAX is now available to order priced from £12,995 to £18,895. Ford's latest model is based on the existing Ford Fiesta platform and is available in three trim levels - Studio, Zetec and Titanium.

Featuring Ford's Easy Access Door System, the B-MAX has traditional hinged front doors and a pair of sliding rear doors that do without the need for the central pillar structure.
When both doors are opened fully, the B-MAX offers an opening that is more than 1.5m wide. Both front and rear doors can be opened independently.

Entry-level Studio models are offered with a 1.4-litre petrol engine and a five-speed manual transmission. Standard specification includes electric windows, electric door mirrors, remote central locking and front, side, knee and curtain airbags.

The Zetec is available with a choice of three petrols and one diesel engine including the new 1.5-litre TDCi and 100bhp 1.0-litre EcoBoost. Buyers also have a choice of manual or automatic transmissions. The Zetec also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, manual air-conditioning, a leather trimmed steering wheel and a DAB digital radio as standard.

The new B-Max will slot below all of those, and will be based on the Fiesta. It'll be a five-door-two front doors, two rear sliders, and a rear hatch-and should seat five. Ford promises that it's worked on packaging with the new model to maximize space and versatility.
That promise extends to the car's trickest feature: it has no B-pillars. The front doors latch to the floor and ceiling of the car, while the rear doors are anchored at the floor and to the slider that runs down the back of the car. As a result, Ford promises that the car will have easier ingress and egress, as well as a little bit more room when the doors are closed.

The B-max, which is just 110mm longer than a Fiesta, also has another ace up its sleeve: it'll be available with the punchy, economical 1.0-litre Ecoboost, which has impressed CAR in the Focus. It’ll be available in 100PS and 120PS versions, the latter returning 57.6mpg.
Other engines include a new 75PS 1.5-litre diesel, capable of 68.9mpg and 109g/km. The 95PS 1.6 TDCI, and 1.4- and 1.6-litre petrols will also be offered.

Company executives are peeved that Ford's brand equity still lags Volkswagen's, and RVs on cars like the Mondeo are pegged to anvil-off-a-cliff depreciators like the Insignia, rather than the floatier Passat. The hope is that, long-term, innovative cars like the B-max will help lift Ford above the shark pool of Korean, French and other rivals. source:carbuyer.co.uk,automobilemag.com,carmagazine.co.uk
